Walter Hal Thompson

Walter Hal Thompson born December 6, 1955 passed away Monday, November 21, 2022.  Walter was born and raised in Murfreesboro, Tennessee but called Maryville, Tennessee home.  Walter was a beloved husband and father.  Of all the roles Walter held, his most cherished was that of Papa.  Walter loved people and making friends.  This was seen through the many miles he would walk and talk with others along the Greenbelt.  He is preceded in death in by his father and mother Hal and Christabella Thompson, father-in-law, Arthur Oliver Bouvier Jr.  He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Patricia Thompson, son Chris Thompson (Jennifer), daughter Courtney Thompson Hernandez (Greg), grandchildren, Beau and Bear Hernandez, mother-in-law, Jean Bouvier.  Family and friends will gather from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2022 at Grandview Pavilion.
