Virginia Lee Porter

Virginia Lee Porter of Maryville passed away May 17, 2022, at Shannondale. She was retired from JCPenney after more than 40 years of service and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Maryville. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Rex Porter; her parents Leonard and Alice Myers; brother-in-law C.H. Bradshaw; her mother-in-law Maytie Porter; sisters-in-law Hazel Wright, June Blevins, and Grace Roberts. She is survived by her daughter Donna Huffine and husband Carroll; her beloved grandchildren Laura Mills and husband Sean, Trey Huffine and wife Jeni; sisters Helen Bradshaw and Lois Myers; brothers J.L. Myers (Reba) and Joe Myers (Alice); numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the staff at Shannondale for the loving care she has received over the past years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. A private family service will be held.
