Mr. Timothy Ray Burger

Timothy Ray Burger, age 56, of Alcoa, passed away August 20, 2017 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by his father Darewin R. Burger and his grandparents Ernest and Leona Burger. He is survived by his wife Carol Burger, of 27 years, his son Timothy E. Burger of Atlanta, GA, his daughter and son-in-law Kelly and David Headrick of Maryville, TN, and his youngest son Anthony Burger and Katelyn of Alcoa, TN. He leaves behind 5 grandchildren with another expected, his aunt Joyce McElroy of Maryville, her son Robert McElroy, who was like a brother to Timothy growing up, two sisters in GA and a brother in FL. Timothy was known as Glassman in the CB radio community. He was a constant joker and kept everybody laughing all the time. Tim was an avid baseball player growing up, and a member of the Babe Ruth League Hall of Fame. He loved spending time with his family, taking his 240sx for a ride in the mountains, and his Monte Carlo SS for a cruise around town. He will be missed by his family.
