It is with great sadness the family of Samantha Heath of Knoxville, Tennessee announce her passing on Friday, April 21, 2023, at the age of 31. Samantha Patience Fahy Heath was born on October 13, 1991 in Maryville, Tennessee. After graduating from Heritage High School, she studied nursing at Tennessee College of Applied Technology and then worked in service of others as a nurse.
While her loss weighs heavily now, Samantha is not defined by her death but the life she lived and the impact she made. She was a beautiful soul who brought joy to her family and friends. Her determination was fierce and her laughter was infectious. Her smile could melt hearts. She will most be remembered for how dearly she loved her young children.
Her loss leaves a gap that cannot be filled, but her family rests in the knowledge she is resting in the arms of Jesus. Samantha accepted Christ as her Savior at age 15. Her family is comforted by God's promise of eternal life: "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life" (John 5:24). Today and forever she flies free.
Samantha was preceded in death by her grandfather Jim Fahy. She is survived by her husband, Scott Heath; her children Haley, Chris, and Connor Heath; her father Jimmy Fahy (Tasha) and mother Michelle Nuchols (Tracy); her parents-in-law Tim and Emily Rowe; her grandparents Mary Hitson (Steve), Phil Lindsey (Minnie), and Georgia Hurst (Roy); and six siblings Lara Childres (Jordan), Trevor Nuchols (Kristen), Travis Nuchols (Sydnee), Matthew Fahy (Tiara), Parker Fahy, and Brittany Nuchols (Jarod); and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Her life will be celebrated by her family in a private memorial. In lieu of flowers, expressions of remembrance may be made through donations to your local rehabilitation program or recovery home.
