Roy A. Bohlman

On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, Roy A. Bohlman, a beloved husband, passed away.  He was 83 at the time of his passing.  Roy is survived by his loving spouse Julia J. Bohlman and sister Janet J. Dolleslager, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his parents Albert E. Bohlman and Alice M. Maxfield, and his sister Helen J. Quiggle.  Roy attended the University of North Dakota and the University of Southern Mississippi.  He proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired from the Treasury Department of the Federal Government.  Roy was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church.  He was an officer and a gentleman.  Roy had many talents, such as researching genealogy, photography, carpentry, creating special moment greeting cards for friends, inventing, writing and fixing things around the house.  He loved decorating his home for the holidays.  Roy also loved animals and was able to share his love with a dog, numerous cats, and birds.  He was admired by his friends and neighbors, and he would do anything for them.  Roy was an outstanding, devoted husband to his loving wife Julia for 59 years.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
