Roger Stephen Gascho passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on September 4, 1953, in Lafayette, IN to Alpha Ray and Vela Gascho, Roger was an Army Veteran who was retired from the FBI and the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Roger is preceded in death by his son, Clint Stephen Gascho, parents Alpha and Vela, sisters Wilma Rousch and Ann Glick, brother Gerry Gascho, sister-in-law Norma Porter, and brother-in-law Manuel Crye. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Bedelia Gascho, daughters Hana Mashburn and Tracy (Billy) Thompson, son Josef Mashburn, stepsons Rob (Ciera) Young and JD (Leighann) Young, grandchildren Aiyana, Evan, Grady, Layla, and Bella, brothers Ron (Vicki) Gascho and Sam (Jean) Gascho, several nieces and nephews, as well as special friends Jr. Galyon, Gary Eubanks, and Jimbo Williams, and his beloved fur-baby Lady.
The family would like to thank UT Hospice who are Angels on Earth. A service for Roger will be held on Monday, November 25th at 12:30pm at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920. In lieu of flowers, Roger’s family kindly requests that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Tennessee via the link below.
