Robin Dawn Porter

Robin Dawn Porter, age 69, of Maryville was called home by the Lord on April 7, 2024. She passed with loving family by her side.

Robin was born on August 13, 1954 at Andrews Air Force Base, CA. She lived in California for 34 years before moving to Cobb County, Georgia where she raised her daughter. She moved to Maryville in 2010 to be closer to her parents.

Robin worked in education for several universities before going back to school to train in lymphatic and massage therapy. Over the years she worked for many places she loved including the OK Cafe (Atlanta GA), Life University (Marietta GA), Porter Family Chiropractic (Marietta GA), UT Veterinary School, and River of Life Health & Wellness (Vonore). 

Robin was hard working and always open to learning something new. She loved being outdoors enjoying God's creation. Her faith, hope and trust was in her savior Jesus Christ. She was always ready to tell others of His work and faithfulness in her life. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Robin was proceeded in death by her parents Robert and Dixie Porter; brother, Dr. Robert Porter Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Audrey Chernoch (Pavel); and sister, Dr. Debby Porter (Peter). Her family and friends celebrated her life on April 27th.

The family would like to express their deepest love and appreciation to all of the many friends and wonderful neighbors for their help and support during Robin’s last year and a half of life. You all were so special to her.
