Richard "Rocky" Dale Blair, Sr.

Richard (Rocky) Dale Blair, Sr., age 74, of Alcoa, TN, passed away peacefully at his home on August 27, 2023, surrounded by his family. Born November 10, 1947, Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Rachel Blair, and older brother Darrell F. Blair. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Margie Blair, daughter and son-in-law Dee Anne and Chris Cupp, son Richard Dale Blair, Jr., granddaughters Shelby Bach (Korey) and Abigail Miller (Jeremy), great-grandsons Beckham Bach and Maverick Michael Miller, and brother Darius Blair.

A devoted member of AA for over 30 years, Richard was a mentor to many and loved by all. Gone But Never Forgotten. A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Central Point Baptist Church. A gathering of friends and family begins at 5:00pm with services following at 7:00pm, Reverend Chris Cupp officiating.
