Regina Ruth "Gina" Anderson

Regina Ruth "Gina" Anderson who was born on Feb. 25, 1956 in Maryville to her parents Bill and Edwina Anderson passed into eternal life on July 13, 2024. She graduated from Maryville High School where she was an excellent student and played tennis, softball, and basketball. Her family were members of Green Meadow CC, where she started her love of tennis. Gina was a member of Maryville United Methodist Church. 

She attended Tennessee Tech and then graduated from Draughn's Business College with a straight A degree in accounting. Gina started a career at Kmart Maryville- Alcoa, working her way up to becoming manager and eventually a pharmacy tech. She retired after 38 years of loyal service. 

Gina was adored by her nieces, Ashley and Katy, and her nephews Rick IV and Josh. She always bought them the latest and greatest toys from Kmart right out of the storage area, before they ever hit the sales floor. She was a very loyal family member and friend. She enjoyed and loved her special friends: Will Partridge and Teresa & Randy Boring who were like family members to her. The Anderson family loves and appreciate them for being a part of Gina's life.

Gina loved to laugh with her special friends and her family. Growing up she and her brothers shared many fun times just laughing mostly at TV Shows! She also loved her Lady Vols UT teams!! Her Shih Tzu dogs Muffett & Gracie brought her many a happy day! Her pretty smile and sense of humor will always be remembered.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents William R. Anderson Sr. (Blanche), Edward Carpenter (Julia) and by her parents William R. Anderson Jr. & Edwina. 

Gina is survived by her brothers William (Ricky) Anderson III & wife Renee’ of Peachtree Corners, GA., Alan Anderson of Maryville and all of her nieces and nephews. There will be a private gathering in loving memory of Gina at Grandview Cemetery. Romans 8:28.
