Philip Glenn Houghton

Philip Glenn Houghton, retired Episcopal priest, age 74, passed away at home January 9. He served many churches from Memphis, TN to Ste Foy, Quebec Canada in his 42 years of ministry. His life was very full with interests in origami, magic, science fiction, Harry Potter, role playing games, minions, Star Wars and astronomy, all shared with family and parishioners. He was preceded by parents Francis and Marguerite Houghton, sister Jean Clark. His survivors include wife Ann, three children - Daniel (Sharon), Stephen (Christopher), Rebecca (Cyndi), three grandchildren - Alex, Krissy and Bronte and sister Deborah (Sharon). Services will be held on Saturday, February 4 at 2:00 pm at St Andrews Episcopal Church, 314 Broadway, with interrment in adjoining Memorial Garden and reception in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to St Andrews church or Leukemia-Lymphoma Society would be appreciated.
