Mr. Paul Stephen Hickman

Paul Stephen Hickman, age 44, of Maryville, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Blount Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was a graduate of Heritage high school and a lifelong resident of Blount County. Paul was quick-witted and always kept everyone around him laughing. He enjoyed spending time with friends and had a great love for animals. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents Loyd and Sis Tucker and Al and Katherine Hickman and cousin Bebe Moyers. Survivors include parents Steve and Glenda Hickman, sister Missy Hickman, niece and great niece Emily and Emma Claxton, aunts and uncles Bob Tucker, Tommy and Judy Tucker, Susie Suggs, Kim and Maryline Hickman, Jim and Shirley Hickman, cousins Lisa Tucker Burnette, Jeffrey Tucker and Dr. Brittany Ashelock, special lifelong friends George Hamby, Scott Deakins, John Henderson and Brian Simpson. A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, October 29th at Third Street Baptist Church. Receiving of friends will be from 2-3 pm, with service following at 3pm.
