Patsy Crockett Boroviak of Louisville passed away on October 6, 2018 at Asbury Place where she resided since suffering a stroke in February. Patsy retired from the University of Tennessee in 2000 after 42 years of service in the Department of Human Performance and Sport Studies. Patsy loved her Volunteers and remained a loyal fan and supporter. Her main love was mentoring graduate students, all who loved her dearly. She was an outstanding dancer and a member of the Happy Tappers. She was an avid golfer and a member of Green Meadow Country Club. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Asbury Place who loved her and took such good care of her. She is survived by her niece Elizabeth Johnson and great nephew Brandon MacLeod, both of California; Amen, her beloved cat and many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Patsy Crockett Boroviak Endowment at the University of Tennessee, College of EHHS, Office of Development, 1122 Volunteer Blvd. Knoxville, TN 37996-3400. A celebration of Patsy's life will be held at Smith Life Event Center in Maryville on Sunday, October 28th at 3:00 p.m. Come prepared to share your best Patsy story.
