Norma Ann Allen

Norma Ann Allen, age 101, passed away on April 7, 2025, surrounded by family in her home. Born in 1924 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Norma was one of the very first switchboard operators in Colorado Springs and spent many years as a school secretary in elementary education. She and her husband, David, built their own house together in Monument, Colorado. They were married for 52 years until his passing in February 2010. Norma was a lover of all things! She deeply loved the Lord, her family, and her friends. Her favorite saying was “Fair to middlin’,” when asked “How are you?”

Norma is preceded in death by her parents, James and Emma Medlock, husband David Allen, daughter Linda Stirman, and brother Robert Medlock. She is survived by her daughter Judy (Mark) Jones; son Jonathan (Paula) Allen; grandchildren Karalynn (Casey), Devin (Emma), Mylon, Troy (Sarah), Todd (Jessica), Amanda (Jordan), and Jordan; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and son-in-law Michael Stirman.

A service for Norma will be announced at a later date.
