Maxine K. Drake

Maxine K. Drake, age 89 passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, March 15, 2016 surrounded by family. She was a longtime member of St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral of Knoxville. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Loretta Goodman-Drake and William F. Drake, Sr. and sister, Murlene Sides. She is survived by sister and brother-in-law, Charles and Annette Dooley; brother and sister-in-law Bill and Ann Drake; brother-in-law, Jim Sides; sons, Bill and Mike Kuhn; daughter and son-in-law Loretta and Leslie Cate; grandchildren and spouses Andrew and Amanda Kuhn, Morgan and Libba Kuhn, Drake Kuhn, Brandon and Montana Kuhn, Ashley Cate, Lindsey and John Salter, Tyler and Hayden Kuhn; great-grandsons Will, Ben and Charlie Kuhn and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral on Tuesday, May 3rd at 11:00 am, with Dean John Ross officiating. There will be a reception immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, Maxine’s desire was that any memorials be made to St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral, 413 W.
