Mr. Matthew Scott Poplin

Matthew Scott Poplin a self-employed man and a life long resident of Maryville, TN passed away March 7, 2018 at the age of 42 in the comfort of his own home surrounded by loved ones. Matt is survived by his wife Angela Poplin, daughter Ashton Paige Poplin, Mother Barbara Poplin Hines and Step father Tommy Hines. Step mother Bonnie Poplin. Brothers and sister Jacob Poplin, Skyler Poplin, and Bailey Poplin. Brother and Sister in law John and Dawn Irwin. Mother and Father in law Celia and Ernie Tracy. Grandfather Bill Reneau and many aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by Father JD Poplin, grandmothers Bea Reneau, Lena Poplin and grandfather Millard Poplin. Matt was born and raised Maryville and a graduate of Heritage High School. In 1994 he married his high school sweetheart, in the same year they respectively welcomed their baby girl Paige, who was the most important part of his life. Matt was a devoted father, husband, son and brother. He enjoyed his job and playing with his cars on his down time. He was a spiritual man who touched many people. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for March 11, 2018 2:30 to 6:00 PM.
