Margie "Pauline" Owens

On Thursday October 27, 2022, Our loving mother, Margie "Pauline" Owens, transitioned to her heavenly home at the age 94.

Pauline was born on January 24 1928 in Pennington Gap, VA to John and Sarah (Bledsoe) Lundy, who preceded her in death. On September 5, 1943, she married George Oscar Owens. Together, they raised five children.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, quilting, sewing, shopping, reading, church activities and spending time with her family.

Pauline is survived by four of her children, Carolyn Sue Griffith of Indianapolis, IN, John (Cathy) Owens of Noblesville, IN, Philip (Lori) Owens of Maryville, TN, Elaine (Mike) Clark of Maryville, TN. She was recently preceded in death by her oldest son, Richard Wayne Owens.

Grandchildren include, Angela Lawson, Lori Klingler, Marc Owens, Christa Griffith, Brian Griffith, Justin Owens, Jared Owens, Joshua Owens, Joseph Owens, Zachary Clark and Jordan Clark and 14 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at her home in Maryville on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 3:00pm-5:00pm. We would welcome you in joining us in our celebration but if unable to attend, the family would appreciate your thoughts  and prayers.
