Marc Joseph Lamontagne, 30, of Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020. He is preceded in death by his father John Paul Lamontagne. Marc is survived by his wife Jenny Lamontage, son Luke Lamontagne, mother Janice Lamontagne, grandparents Mary and Mike Dunning, sisters Suzette Lamontagne and Cheryl Rohnke, nephew Brandon Lamontagne, beloved pet bunnies Burt and Basil, as well as many, many more family and friends throughout the country. Born in Riverside, CA on August 28, 1989, Marc was a long-time security officer and was starting at the Knoxville Police Department in the near future. Marc was an avid outdoorsman. He absolutely loved animals of all kinds. Marc loved having a great time with friends and family – especially if he could keep them fed and full by grilling out. Basically, Marc love absolutely anything as long as it was outside. Marc was a good man with a big heart, willing to give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved living in TN and loved UT football, as long as they were winning. Marc loved baseball and would always keep up with the Los Angeles Angels. However, his main love was making memories outside. There will be a Celebration of Marc’s Life on Friday, June 26, 2020, from 530-800 pm at Norris Dam State Park, Pavilion 1. In lieu of flowers the family has set up a GoFundMe (https://gf.me/u/ya7tu3) account to honor his memory.
