Lori Damato-Keenan, age 43, of Maryville, TN passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at Blount Memorial Hospital on 5-22-16. Lori was born on July 2, 1972 in Buffalo, NY. Lori was a homemaker in the true sense of the word whose beaming smile, laughter and demeanor brought joy and happiness to everyone she met, and who never knew a stranger. She enjoyed camping, kayaking, travelling, and the outdoors, and was perhaps best known for her incredible and unequaled culinary talents by those fortunate enough to have shared a meal that she had prepared. Lori is preceded in death by her father David Dimaggio. She is survived by her loving husband, Eric Keenan of Maryville, by her three step-children whom she lived with and loved every bit as her own, Hunter, Garrett and Ashlee Keenan. She is also survived by her biological children Clayton, Noah and Sawyer Damato, of Maryville, her sister Nikole Vazquez of Columbia, MD, her brother David DiMaggio Jr. of Tonawanda, NY and her mother Debbie Dimaggio of Orlando, FL, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins who were very dear to her. A memorial service will be held in the Student Ministry Center of East Maryville Baptist Church, 1150 Brown School Rd, Maryville, TN 37804, on Saturday, June 4 2016 between 2-5 pm. It was Lori’s request that her memorial be a celebration of life, and that attendees dress in brightly colored, casual clothing, and to enjoy one another’s company and tell stories of her life, legacy and love. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, please consider the needs of the family at this trying and difficult time.
