Lois Ellen Tipton Russell

Lois Ellen Tipton Russell, age 73, went home to be with our Lord, passing at home June 4, 2018. Lois was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents Claude and Marie Ogle Tipton, sister Sarah Lou Tipton Burnett, brother-in-law Lee Burnett and sister-in-law Judy Tipton. Survived by daughter Donna Johnson (Scott Orr), grandson Cody Millsaps (fiancé Megan Wells) with three great-grandsons, granddaughter Courtney Millsaps (David Bookout) with a great-grandchild on the way, sister Reba Tipton (Jerry Bass), brothers Jake Tipton (Janie), Maynard Tipton (Susan), Dexter Tipton (Delores), Jerry Tipton (Nell), Stanley Tipton (Linda), Larry Tipton (Kay) and Randall Tipton, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews . A Celebration of Life will be held at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church on June 11, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. A graveside service will be held at Big Toqua Cemetery in Vonore on June 12, 2018 at 2:00pm.
