Lois Gahan Heerdt

Lois Gahan Heerdt was born April 28, 1924 in Buffalo, New York, and died July 14, 2018 in Maryville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Mark E Heerdt, MD. She is survivied by 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Lois and Mark raised their family in Okemos, Michigan before moving to Tennessee in the early 1970’s. Lois was most proud of her children, and thought her greatest accomplishment was her family. Among her hobbies were quilting, gardening, birdwatching, swimming, and traveling America. She was a longtime resident of Shannondale of Maryville where she made many friends. A private service is planned for a later date.
