Linda Ann King

Linda Ann King, 75, of Maryville, TN, passed away on March 15, 2024 surrounded by family. Linda was born March 31, 1948 to Albert and Leona Norkus in Chicago, Illinois. She retired from GM Electro-Motive after 30+ years before she settled in Maryville. She had many passions from singing in her husband Joe’s band to co-leading the Citizens for Blount County’s Future. Linda stood up for what was right and wasn’t afraid to voice her opinion. She also enjoyed her family and loved spoiling them.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Leona Norkus, and loving husband Joseph King. Linda is survived by her brother Michael (Joan) Norkus Sr., nephew Michael Norkus Jr., niece Barbra Meece, cousins Francis Crossley, Edward (Joan) Lundmark, Karen Johanek, and many other “nieces” and “nephews”.
