Leigh Ann Kerr of Knoxville died at her home with her loving family present on Monday, May 2, 2022. Leigh Ann was preceded in death by her father, James Oscar McCord and her mother Martha Vaughn McCord. She leaves her husband Bruce Kerr, sons Gayden (Blue) Drew V of Maryville and James Logan (Haili) Drew of Chattanooga, daughters Lauren (Jeremy) Lay of Lenoir City and Kristen (Jonathan) Van Cleve of Nashville along with 6 grandchildren, Bear, Tallulah, Lake, Elijah, Walker and Boone. She also leaves her sister Lisa McCord (Charlie) Anderson of Knoxville and three nephews. Leigh Ann was a registered nurse with GIA of Knoxville and previously with Alive Hospice of Nashville where she lived her passion of caring for others. She was a lifelong seeker and was enrolled in the Living School of the CAC in Albuquerque at the time of her death. She was a connector, facilitator, planner, motivator and true friend to many, many people. She was the type who never met a stranger and always sought ways to help others. When she loved you she was all in, she loved out loud and in full color. A dear mother and grandmother (LeLe), she will be greatly missed. A Memorial Celebration Service will be held May 28, 2022 at 10:00 am at Smithview Pavillion, 1410 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN. Casual Attire - Hiking and Biking attire encouraged.
