Kevin loved Life – He Served his country with honor and he was loved. Left to cherish Kevin’s memory are his mother Donnie Terrell, two sisters Deborah Ivey and Pam Ricker, brother Dean Terrell, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, his Aunt, and all the Cousins, as well as Kevin’s partner Melanie Sherwood and a host of loving friends, which all will miss him and loved him dearly. He was Born in Winter Haven, Fl. Kevin was a life-long aviator - He served in the Air Force as an Aerospace Propulsion Specialist – then transitioned to civilian roles for over 20yrs with WoodGroup Turbopower and Rolls-Royce Engine Services and then Standard Aero brought him to TN as the AE1107 Quality Inspector for the engine he so loved. He was an adventurist – in his younger years he was interested and loved Scuba Diving, traveling (seeing what this world had to offer). He loved and appreciated nature as well as music. He especially loved trying new foods and wines. He was self-taught and would search out all the possibilities for things that he could accomplish – He had a drive to Learn. He finally found his Place - His Home, he finally found contentment in life surrounded by his friends who became his Family in East TN, “The Smokey Mountains”. The Sun setting at Clingman’s Dome, the back drop, for this will be where his ashes will remain in the Mountain’s that he Loved – He will be ONE with nature forever, One of his many favorite views. Honoring Kevin’s service and all military personnel, In lieu of flowers the family requested donations to be made to Second Chance Warriors God has another Angel in Heaven!!!
