Mr. Karl G. DuBois

October 2, 1947 — November 3, 2021

Karl G. DuBois, born 1947 in Waterbury, CT, passed away peacefully at home, November 3, 2021, after a long battle with dementia. He was preceded in death by his parents, George DuBois and June Sessions. He is survived by his loving wife, Sue DuBois, sisters, Karen Meston and Gayle DuBois, brother, Guy DuBois, 2 children, Cooper DuBois and Dana DuBois, and a grandson, Cassius DuBois. Karl was a teacher, a coach, a software programmer, and as he loved to say at every meal, the only licensed cook at the table. Karl had a master’s degree in mathematics. He taught math for 7 years at Choate High School and Avon Old Farms School in Connecticut where he also coached football and ice hockey. In his later career he was a data manager and software programmer. He retired from the IT department at Tupperware World Headquarters in Orlando in 2012. He was a kind person with a joie de vivre. He loved animals, kayaking, dancing, working hard, cooking for family, and doing anything athletic. He affectionately called his wife Sue “Bucko” from the day they met just because he was fun-loving. They became best friends forever after their first dance together. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Mr. Karl G. DuBois please visit our Sympathy Store.
