Mr Joseph Wayne King

Joe King, age 76, passed away on Friday, April 26th, with his family by his side. He leaves behind his wife, Linda, of almost 48 loving years. They were inseparable as a couple and built their lives around each other. Joe was a talent beyond comprehension, whether it was in mechanical building, metal construction, woodworking or making music. He was a straight talker with good advice and had the unique ability to predict the outcome of every action. He was co-leader of Citizens for Blount County’s Future and a hard right conservative with moral values. He enjoyed the fun and company of the Giebudowski clan and loved spoiling their kids with chocolate, special presents and hand-made dollhouse furniture, along with little outings. Joe was irreplaceable as a member of the greatest generation and will be forever missed by all who loved him dearly.
