Mr. John Herrell

John Herrell, 90, passed away at home Thursday, July 7, 2016. John worked for the White Stores for over 45 years. He attended Monte Vista Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents Henry Oliver and Reese Myrtle Stout Herrell, brothers Grover and Bill Herrell, sisters Kate Brummitt, Cora Brummitt, Pauline Brackitt and first wife, Ruth. Survived by wife Ruby Shaver Long-Herrell, step son and family Greg, Susan, Jonathan and Angela Long, sister Peggy Jo Miles, several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of John’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 30th at Calvary Baptist Church Lenoir City. Family will receive friends from 1-2.
