Mr. John Wesley Duckworth

John Wesley Duckworth, of Maryville, TN passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016. He was born November 3, 1938 in Lansing, MI. John worked for 20+ years in the savings and loan industry. John also played baritone at many churches, where he acted as choir director and music minister. John is preceded in death by his parents Oral and Juanita Duckworth, brother Bradley Duckworth and sisters Bethany Connor (Bill) and Barbara Pede (Wayne). He is survived by wife Connie Duckworth, son John C. Duckworth, daughter Renee L. Vatilla, granddaughter Kellie Martinez (Wally), great grandchildren Erik and Peyton Martinez, sister-in-law Sylvia Duckworth, four nieces, five nephews, six great nieces, three great nephews and one great-great niece. A Celebration of Life will be held Topside Church of God in Louisville, TN on Saturday, December 17th, 2016 at 10am.
