Joanne Rosalyn Phillips

Joanne Rosalyn Phillips, 85, was born on August 19, 1939, in Duluth, Minnesota and passed away on January 27, 2025, in Sevierville, Tennessee. 

Joanne was born to Anthony Ludwig Augustyn and Gladys Elenor (Erickson) Augustyn. Joanne spent most of her youth in Duluth before the family relocated to the Los Angeles, CA area when Joanne was a teenager. Joanne was married at the age of 19 and had four children before divorcing. Joanne proudly raised her four children as a single mother while earning a living working for a home warranty company for many years, until retirement. In 1995, Joanne, accompanied by her children and grandchildren, left the hustle and bustle of California and relocated to Sevierville, TN where she enjoyed a slower, quieter life. 

Joanne is preceded in death by her parents and two younger brothers, Anthony “Tony” Augustyn and Terrance “Terry” Augustyn, and her eldest daughter, Lori Noriega. 

Those left to grieve Joanne are her children: Steven (Janet) Phillips, Robert (Cheryl) Phillips, and Tami Phillips; grandchildren: Tralina Noriega, Cassandra Phillips, Amanda Holland, Jeffrey (Jessica) Holland and Breanna Phillips; and great-grandchildren: Aurora and Tyson Brady. 

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
