Mr. Jimmy Smith

Jimmy Smith, 65, of Maryville, having recently moved here from Pelham, AL, passed away Saturday, April 22. He was a long time member of Lakeview UMC of Pelham, AL. He was retired as a senior designer with a division of the Southern Company, with over 25 years of service before retiring in 2011. He was a loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his mother Bok Soon Smith and father James F. Smith. He is survived by his wife Pamela Williams Smith, sons Jason Lyle Smith (Briar), Christopher Lee Smith and Nathan Lane Smith, daughter Tanya Smith Davidson (Kyle), grandchildren Bryson Elizabeth Ripley Smith and Bailey Madelynn Davidson, brothers John Smith, Richard Smith, Hal Smith, Charlie Smith and Joseph Smith (Tammy). A Celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 2pm at Lakeview UMC in Pelham, AL, with Reverends Ron Schultz and Michael Moore officiating.
