Jeannine Lennette Helton

Jeannine Lennette Helton passed away after a long battle with cancer on March 18, 2022. Born on September 16, 1953, in Greeley, CO, Jeannine is preceded in death by her father Raymond Wells Gregory. She is survived by her daughters Makala Holliday and Jennifer Helton, and her grandchildren Katyla Smith, Clayton Mahan, Dixie Odom, and Shyanne Odom. Jeannine got her GED in 2001 followed by a Bible College Degree, she was a school crossing guard, worked for a nursing home in food services, and worked in gardening and babysitting. She received several awards and honors for her jobs as well as life achievements. Jeannine was a loving mother and nana and never knew a stranger. She loved to garden and help in any way possible. She had a beautiful heart like her flowers, she was dedicated to making places pretty and calm with her green thumb and beautiful gardening. She got joy from being a motherly figure and nana to the community. She regularly visited food banks, in order to give back and deliver to fellow friends.
