Janice L. Bryant Caughron

Janice L. Bryant Caughron, aged 71, of Maryville, went to be with her Savior, Sunday July 10, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Onley “O.L” Bryant and Hazel Wilmouth Hammontree Bryant, sister Linda Bryant Vaughn and her husband Robert “Fred” Vaughn. Janice leaves behind her beloved husband of 52 years, Kenneth E. Caughron; her children: son, Nathan Caughron and daughter-in-law Rachel Bean Caughron; daughter, Callie Caughron; grandchildren AnnElise Caughron and Cade Caughron; beloved nephews and nieces as well as great nephew and nieces; and her special friends she made at Victory Baptist church who were life-long friends, travel companions, god-parents to her children and with her until the very end. Janice played the piano at Second Baptist Maryville, was a member at Victory Baptist Church, Memorial Baptist Church, and Sevier Heights Baptist Church.  Janice has touched the lives of many with the love of Christ that was in her. She always proclaimed the love of her Savior and His saving grace to others as she demonstrated that love through her actions and compassion toward others. She now has the glorified body she always dreamed of having, and she sits at the feet Jesus. Janice attended Knoxville Business school, ran her own business, was an artist, decorator, caterer, and medical specialist by profession but dabbled in just about anything she set her mind to. Per Janice’s wishes there will be a celebration of life Friday July 15,  2022 at 6pm at Grandview Pavilion, Maryville.
