Mr. Jackie Lester Nix

Jackie Lester Nix, 71, of Rockford, passed away February 28th, 2017. He was a loving, devoted, hard-working husband, father and grandfather. Jackie has been with Harrison Construction for over 45 years. His greatest prides in life were his children, grandchildren, and his hot rods. He was truly his family’s rock. Jackie is preceded in death by parents John & Lilly Nix (Brown), 2 brothers, sisters Bonnie Powers, Ernestine Nichols, Mae Northern, and Laura Joines. He is survived by wife Shelia Nix (Debuty), son and daughter-in-law Brian & Brooke Nix (Ledbetter), daughter Tonya Reynolds (Nix), son Trever Nix; Grandchildren Griffin & Rowan Nix, Ace Reynolds; sister Pauline Pratt, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 2nd from 5-7pm at Gray Ridge Baptist Church, S. Carver Rd in Maryville.
