Mr. Gerald E. "Jerry" Olson

Gerald E. “Jerry” Olson, 68, of Maryville, TN passed away peacefully at home January 21, 2019, with his wife, Diane, at his side. He was born on April 4, 1950 in Laona, Wisconsin and worked for 40 years at SCA Tissue. Jerry served in the US Army and became disabled during his term in Vietnam. His dream was to retire in Maryville, TN, which he did. There, he enjoyed computers, fishing, fixing things and riding his lawnmower. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Elsie Olson, mother and father-in-law James and Dawn Klarner, nephew Christopher Olson and other family members. He is survived by his wife Diane Olson; children Wayne (Pam) Olson, Jamie (Kim) Olson, Scott (Michelle) Zastrow, Jamie Lynn and Tim Kositzke; brothers Jim (Penney) Olson, Don (Char) Olson, and Lyle (Lori) Olson; brother-in-law Gary (Sue) Klarner; grandchildren Tanner, Shawn, Taylor, Alexa, Trevor, Nevaeh, Anna, Jesalyn, Dylan, Branden, Kara, Autumn, and Emily; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
