Gary Lee Taylor

Gary Lee Taylor, 75, of Greenback, TN, died on July 3, 2023, in Maryville.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Hazel (Hendricks) Taylor, his aunts, Merle Hendricks and Lois Key, and his uncle, Ralph Hendricks. He was blessed to be dearly loved over his lifetime by countless family members, friends, and church families.

His family appreciates the kindness and care that Gary received from Dr. Ashwin Kishtagari, Siobhan Bissonette, and the staff at the Vanderbilt Hematology Clinic; the nurses and staff at University of Tennessee Hospice Services; and the nurses and staff at MorningView Transitional Care Center.

A memorial service will be held at Axley’s Chapel Methodist Church in Greenback on July 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service. A private interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Gary requested that memorial donations be made to support Dr. Kishtagari’s research.
