Floyd "Ray" Harrill, Jr., age 69, passed away December 17, 2024, 3 days shy from his 70th birthday, at UTMC after a courageous battle with prostate cancer then radiation complications. Lifetime resident of Maryville, Ray was a 1972 graduate of Everett High School. He worked for A&P Grocery Store, the Maryville City School Systems Maintenance Department and Wood Properties. He was a certified heat and air mechanic and a maintenance expert.
Junior Ray was a great husband, father, kitty dad, and kitty grampy. He is preceded in death by: furbabies Toby and Stacie Marie, grandkitties Maggie and Marcy, and parents Dora and Floyd Ray Harrill, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Robin Keaton Harrill, daughters Emily Anne and Katie Elise, sister Dora Lynne Harrill and brother Michael (Jennifer) Harrill, mother-in-law Ruby Sandifur, grandkitties Ella and Macy, nephews Rusty Keaton and Colin Harrill, niece Christina Harrill.
The family would like to thank Kaitlynn and all of the UTMC nurses on 4 South and ICU, as well as, the physicians at University Urology. Per Ray's request, there will be no services. He will be cremated and interred at New Providence Cemetery.
