Diane McKibben Whitlow

Diane McKibben Whitlow, 78, of Friendsville, Tennessee previously of Hixson, Tennessee and Columbus, Georgia, died August 9, 2022 at her home surrounded in love by her family.

Our mom loved to have a full house and cooking big meals for all to share.  She was the picnic “Queen” for our family after whitewater rafting trips.  She loved crafts, word puzzles, and watching Hallmark movies.  More than anything, she loved spending time with her family.  She will be missed so much. 

Preceded in death by her husband Gerald (GW) Whitlow; her parents, Leroy and Evelyn McKibben; her sister Wynell Yarian; her nephew, Barry Yarian; her brother-in-laws, Charles Whitlow and George Yarian.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws:  Jeri (Whitlow) and Al Chauta of Macon, GA, Jan (Whitlow) and Eric Williams of Ringgold, GA, Jodi (Whitlow) and Daniel Reyes of Friendsville, TN; Grandchildren Shelby (Williams) and Darren Domaracki, Grace Chauta, Samuel Williams, Gabriela Chauta, Tucker Reyes, Tanner Reyes, Shaun Chauta and Matt Chauta and their families; sister Oleta(McKibben) and Jimmy Collins of Tyrone, GA; sister-in-law Sandra (Whitlow) and Bill Dobbs; many nieces and nephews.
