Mr. David Leroy Hazelwood

David Leroy Hazelwood, 65, of Alcoa, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017. David worked many years in the trucking industry. He attended Faith Promise and RIO South Church. David loved riding motorcycles and being in the outdoors. He loved animals and he never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his parents Herman and Doris Hazelwood, brothers Larry Hazelwood and James Hazelwood, and sister Sally Hazelwood. David is survived by his wife of 30 years and best friend, Cathy Wilson Hazelwood, sons Jason White of IN and Joseph White of TN, grandchildren Allen, Destiny and Bailey, sisters Janet Baker (Lonnie) of Austin IN, Wanda Brackin (Danny) of Austin IN, brothers Kenny Hazelwood of Austin IN, Denis Hazelwood (Ramona) of Crothersville IN, and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of David’s Life, with military honors, will be held from 10am-2pm Saturday, August 19, 2017, at the Smith Professional Center’s Hampton Hall (627 Smithview Drive, Maryville, TN 37803).
