Mr. David Lynn Harris

David Lynn Harris, 66, of Maryville, TN passed away March 13, 2018. He was born on April 25, 1951 in Blount County, studied at Tennessee technical school before going on to work for Artic Slope Telephone (Alaska). He was a member of Outreach Christian Fellowship. David is preceded in death by parents George P. and Anna Margaret Harris. He is survived by wife Linda, daughters Tabitha Blades (Jeff) and Christy McGill, son John Harris (Melissa), grandchildren Brad McGill (Brittany), Bethany Anderson (Logan), Mallory McGill, Gavin Harris, Brendan Harris and Hayden Harris, great-grandchildren Lucas Anderson and Brooklyn McGill, brother Ronald Bruce Harris (Jennifer), as well as special friends Dennis Giles, Glenn Smith and Jim and Joyce Little. David was a loving husband, father and grandad, and a faithful Christian. A special thank you to Outreach Christian Church and the ICV/ICU Staff at UT Medical Center. “I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see him with my own eyes—I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!” (Job 19:25-27).
