Dan H. Wynn, 70, passed away peacefully at Blount Memorial Hospital on October 3, 2019 with his wife of 23 years, Marsha, by his side. Dan was born December 5, 1948 to Howard and Bertha (Allen) Wynn. He graduated from Monroe Central High School in Parker City, Indiana in 1967 and served his country in the Marine Corp from 1967-1969, including time served in Vietnam. After his military service, Dan worked for the United States Postal Service for over 32 years, retiring in 2012. In addition to time spent with family, Dan enjoyed fishing, lawn mowing, playing cards (especially Euchre), playing guitar, singing and round dancing. Dan was preceded in death by his parents as well as several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife; his three sons, Dustin (Jennifer) Wynn, Seth (Mary) Wynn and Zachary Wynn; two stepsons Cory (Angela) Rundle and Christopher (Teena) Rundle; grandchildren Shelby and Keira; step grandchildren Mary, Jacob, Meredith, Rachel, Jack, Alyssa, Hannah, Nathan and Olivia as well as many other family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, October 6, 2019 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 429 Sandy Springs Rd, Maryville @ 2:30pm followed by a Celebration of Life service at 4pm. Memorial gifts may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
