Carla Joan Waple

In loving memory of a kind, compassionate wife, Carla Joan Rozek Waple. She went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 24, 2024. She passed away peacefully at Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN after a short tough battle with Melanoma liver cancer. 

Carla is preceded in death by her parents, Charles J. Rozek and Ester L. Rozek, and brother Charles "Jack” Rozek. She is survived by her husband Ben Waple and her beloved cat Misty. Carla was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Towson High School in 1963. She worked for the City of Baltimore and for the last 15 years was Senior Branch Manager for the Edward Jones office in Hardin Valley, TN. Carla was a kind, good-hearted person who truly loved helping others. She was the best wife a man could ask for.

She rarely did things for herself, always putting myself, her friends, and pets first. I am a broken man, and my better half is gone, and I will always love her with all my heart.
