Carla Durham Head

Carla Durham Head went home to be with her Heavenly Father on July 17th, 2024. Carla was born in Nashville and raised in Hendersonville, TN. Carla found her true calling as an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. Carla was selfless, always putting others first, and making them feel welcome and loved. She had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh; her personality filled the room. Carla had a determined spirit and was undeterred once her mind was made up. Carla loved to travel and left her mark on the many countries she visited. Carla enjoyed spending Saturdays in the fall watching her Vols play at Neyland Stadium. She is survived by her husband William “Mike” Head, her daughter Kami Head Damato (Tom), her son Michael Head, and her grandchildren Clayton, Noah, Sawyer, and Kendall, her mother Camilla Durham, and her sister Lori Lyons. Carla was preceded in death by her father Robert Carl Durham. The family will hold an intimate gathering to celebrate Carla’s life on their farm in Maryville, TN.
