C. Reese Fondren

Reese Fondren, age 80, passed away on February 16, 2023.  Reese was born in Port Lavaca, TX on March 6, 1942.  He continued living in TX until 2004, when he moved to Maryville, TN.  Reese remained a loyal fan of his High School football team, “The Calhoun County Fighting Sandcrabs”.  He is survived by his wife of over 55 years, Judith, their daughter Staci Lucas (Tim), son Daniel (Jo), and grandchildren Gracelyn, Shaelyn, Collette and Xanthe.  Reese was a gentle man, with a kind heart and a loving soul.  He stayed busy tinkering with electronics, computers and Ham radio equipment, but music was his passion.  Reese truly was one of a kind, and we miss him very much.  Our loss is great, but the gain of God is greater.  The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
